Privacy policy
This is a skeleton. Each heading below is a section a privacy policy of this kind normally has, with a line saying what belongs in it. Replace each italic line with your adviser’s wording. The three sections marked as already true describe what this website actually does today and were measured from the site itself — check them, but do not assume they match another site’s policy.
Who we are
The name and contact address of the person or business responsible for the information collected here, and how to reach them about it.
What we collect
Each kind of information collected, listed separately. See “What the enquiry form collects” below, which is already accurate.
Why we collect it
The purpose of each kind, and the lawful basis for holding it.
Consent, and how to withdraw it
What someone agrees to by using the form, and how they tell you to stop and delete what you hold.
Who else sees it
Anyone the information is shared with — a mail provider, a host, an accountant — and what each does with it.
What the enquiry form collects
When somebody writes to Shikhee through the form on this site, the following is stored: their name, their email address, their mobile number if they give one, and the message they write. The site also records the internet address the message was sent from and the identifier the browser sends about itself. Nothing else is collected, and nothing is collected from people who only read the site.
How long enquiries are kept
An enquiry is kept for twenty-four months and is then deleted permanently and automatically. The deletion date is fixed when the message arrives, so shortening this period later does not move the date on a message already received. Deletion removes the record from this website; a copy of the notification email may still exist in Shikhee’s own mailbox, which this website cannot reach.
Whether we measure visitors
This site runs no analytics of any kind. There is no visitor counter, no tracking script and no third-party measurement service. Nothing follows a reader from one page to the next beyond the session cookie described in the cookie policy.
Where it is stored
The country the server is in, and any transfer of information outside it.
Your rights
The rights a person has over information held about them, and how to exercise each one.
Complaints
Who to write to first, and which authority to approach if that does not resolve it.
Changes to this policy
How changes are made and how a reader can tell the policy has changed.
